Thus begins...

another mass murder of trees in Bengaluru. All in the name of "development".

Agara junction and Iblur junction on Sarjapura ORR are getting flyovers. This stretch from Silk board to Iblur has quite a nice avenue of trees - good shade on the road and awesome morning light-plays. They will be sorely missed as they give way to a tar and concrete landscape. Looking forward to two years of traffic snarls at the minimum.

I hope against hope that these flyovers, after such a sacrifice, don't turn out to be farces like the silk board flyover is - Expensive and Useless. I wonder when the city planners will come to their senses.

Magnolia

Litchies with icecream @ Magnolia. After a long time, went there this sunday. The guy waiting on us was pretty rude :-(. Us having to repeat orders, him nonchalantly replying or not replying to our questions. The food's awesome though.

Got to use zook (thru SMS) to get Magnolia's number. Cool!!

Coffee?

Visit -->Here<-- for more.

Pictures from "Coffee?", a nice little coffee shop off Greenways Road.

Alongside good coffee are served photographs by Sharad Haksar - a sale towards charity.

I tried the Turkish coffee, which has a whiff of cardamom and some other spices. Overall a dainty, quite place to relax your blues away.

Pandhikari, Coffee and Peace

Went biking to Madikeri. Around 650kms in all. Stayed at this nice place in a place called Cherumbane.

4WDed a jeep up a really steep, slushy track. In the end it took an additional 5MP (man-power) to get it up the incline.

Oh! We also a ditched a jeep. :)
