This is the single largest restaurant bill that I've ever seen... 17grand!! Rupees, ofcourse. No, not my pocket. 

I finished the first six volumes of the Dark Tower series sometime back. Took me way too long to get the last part of the saga. No hardcover in stock though :(

Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner has been highly recommended by a lot of people.

Meera Syal's book should be as funny as her acting is.

Haruki Murakami's books again have been highly recommended to me. I started this book yesterday and am half through. Pretty interesting book, I should say. 

One of the Air-conditioned volvo buses running on suburban routes. Route Number 2. These buses are a huge success in B'Lore. Here's hoping that BMTC takes this further. FYI, Chennai tried a/c coaches years ago but it was subsequently scrapped.

Dubai is completely filled with such construction sites. Towers are the norm. Tall, taller, tallest - the moto.

All Arabic food joints place this humungous plate of vegetables and leaves alongside your order. I wonder if somebody would actually eat all of it - including the bell pepper. 

The roads in Dubai are landscaped with such brightly coloured flowers. Supposedly, the administration also replants with different colours occasionally. The first thing you notice during landing at Dubai are these bright islands of colours.

You can get yourself ferried across the creek for 50fils. Narrow boats, crowded. Boats crash against each other nonchalantly. That's the way they free their paths. People milling around to get on to a boat.

Yes, I got myself a SE w800i. Not the best looking phone especially compared to the Nokia 6280 that I bought for my bro, yet comes with an awesome 2MP camera that can actually auto-focus :-O

So here's my new mobile-clicks blog. I'll convert it into a propah moblog once i am GPRS-ready etc. Until then manual posts from the mobile to the laptop and then to the web.
